Shaking A Fist At God by Katharine Dell
Dell examines the problem of undeserved suffering, calling first upon the story of Job, one of the great characters of the Old Testament, to illuminate human reaction to suffering. Dell then draws effectively on the works of a number of literary giants to further explore the problem, suggesting that when faced with undeserved suffering, one may feel justified in shaking a fist at God.
